The International Neuromodulation Society (INS)<\/b><\/a> is excited to announce the relaunch of the in-person INS 15th World Congress<\/a> in\u00a0Barcelona, Spain, May 21-26, 2022<\/strong>. The event will continue to maintain an online presence, providing opportunities for virtual access to the educational content.<\/p>\n

The congress subtitled “Neuromodulation: From Scientific Theory to Revolutionary Therapy<\/em>\u201d, hopes to emphasize that neuromodulation therapies from deep brain stimulation for movement disorders, epilepsy and psychiatric disorders, to spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain and locomotion, to sacral nerve stimulation for urinary and fecal incontinence have all developed from rigorous scientific theory and have matured into proven clinical therapies.<\/p>\n

The International Neuromodulation Society (INS)<\/b><\/a> is a non-profit group of clinicians, scientists and engineers dedicated to the scientific development and awareness of neuromodulation \u2013 the alteration of nerve activity through the delivery of electrical stimulation or chemical agents to targeted sites of the body. The INS also provides\u00a0information for patients<\/a>\u00a0and produces\u00a0rolling news briefs<\/a>\u00a0about this rapidly evolving field.<\/p>\n
