The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS) is a professional society of clinicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals, who are interested in Parkinson’s disease, related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, hyperkinetic movement disorders, and abnormalities in muscle tone and motor control.

touchNEUROLOGY caught up with the MDS President, Prof. Francisco Cardoso, to discuss the upcoming congress and what to expect. MDS is excited to announce the relaunch of the in-person International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS)® congress in Madrid, Spain, September 15-18, 2022. The event will continue to maintain an online presence, providing opportunities for virtual access to the educational content.
