The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) is the pre-eminent organization of multiple sclerosis health care providers improving the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis.
As a multi-disciplinary organization, CMSC advocates a collaborative approach to multiple sclerosis care and provides a network for all health care professionals. CMSC provides leadership in clinical research and education; develops vehicles to share information and knowledge among members; disseminates information to the health care community and to persons affected by multiple sclerosis; and develops and implements mechanisms to influence health care delivery.
CMSC’s strong educational platform includes year-round online and face to face seminars, conferences and certification exams. In addition, CMSC’s Annual Meeting, the leading professional event in North America, focuses on the latest research, diagnosis and treatments for multiple sclerosis. CMSC’s educational programming provides continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and psychologists.
CMSC’s official, peer-reviewed journal, the International Journal of MS Care (IJMSC), publishes high-quality research, reviews, and consensus papers on a broad range of clinical topics of interest to MS health-care professionals, and is provided to our membership in hard copy at no charge. The mission of the IJMSC is to promote multidisciplinary cooperation and communication among the global network of MS health-care professionals, with the goal of maximizing the quality of life of people affected by MS. CMSC Annual Meeting – exciting announcements from the 2022 meeting:
Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) announces the redesign of its peer-reviewed and award-winning publication, the International Journal of MS Care (IJMSC). The Journal, which is published 6 times per year, will introduce a modernized logo and typeface that will complement its original articles that cover various aspects of MS, and particularly those relevant to the multidisciplinary management of the disease and its consequences.
Debuting at the CMSC Annual Meeting, June 1-4, 2022, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, MD, the May/June issue of IJMSC will feature high-quality research and reviews on a broad range of clinical topics of interest to MS health-care professionals, including neurological treatment, nursing care, rehabilitation, neuropsychological status, psychiatric/psychosocial care, and quality of life issues for people with MS. The new format is designed to better engage and inform the diversity of the Journal’s readership, which encompasses physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists
In addition, CMSC is pleased to introduce DropCite (dropcite.com), a ground-breaking way to interact with research presentations, for its poster session being presented at its Annual Meeting, June 1-4, 2022 in National Harbor, MD. DropCite’s product is designed to enhance researchers’ connections and discussions with conference attendees. By using DropCite to share posters at the CMSC Annual Meeting 2022, researchers will receive commentary about their work from conference attendees before, during and after the poster session.
