Alex Green from the Department of Neurosurgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and Ray Chaudhuri from the NPF Centre of Excellence at Kings College Hospital, London talk about new and novel invasive therapies which could potentially be available in the future for Parkinson’s disease and explain the process of developing new therapies and the importance of clinical trials. They are also joined by Richard Windle, who has Parkinson’s disease, who gives his insights into participating in clinical trials and how important it is for people with Parkinson’s disease to consider entering clinical trials.
